PACC is a 501(c)3 non-profit which qualifies as a charitable organization.

PACC was founded in the mid 1980’s and opened its doors in June of 1989 as a result of all charitable donations of $1.6M. PACC was expanded in 1995 as a result of another drive for charitable donations of $880K.

PACC currently serves the general population inclusive of pre-school age through individuals who are into their 90’s. PACC features many attractions including a pool area (with main pool, wading pool, whirlpool, sauna, poolside climbing wall, and waterslides), gymnasiums, batting cage/golf net, racquetball courts, full-featured fitness area (with free weights, weight machines, and a wide variety of cardio equipment), locker rooms, meeting rooms, elevated walking/running track, and more. PACC is a frequent stop for exercise, recreation, and socializing for many individuals from the Perham area. It also serves as a great facility for those who are visiting the area while on business or vacation.

Activities and opportunities at PACC via admission/fees and/or PACC membership include open swim, seasonal roller skating, swimming lessons, fitness classes, birthday parties, pick-up basketball, racquetball, wally ball, volleyball, lap swim, fitness equipment use, and more. Activity groups which currently lease space at PACC and which are accessible via a participation fee include Lakes Area Penguin (Youth) Swim Team and Mid-Minnesota Tae Kwon Do. Numerous community events are currently held at PACC including shows, church fairs, tournaments, lock-ins, and more, all of which assist in offsetting the operating expenses.

Charitable donations can, individually or in part, fund capital (building) projects and equipment purchases. They can also assist by providing membership scholarships or day pass assistance for less fortunate area families to be able to access PACC and its offerings.
